HIGHER GROUND
This song was written near the 2005 Rocky Mountain Discipleship Summit, a family reunion of sorts for the Rocky Mountain region and anyone who had ever been part of this region. It was a truly awe-inspiring time, during which God healed many wounds and called the church higher - by allowing us to remember our roots. Higher Ground became the conference theme song, and it was a powerful thing to hear a couple thousand joyful saints singing it.
Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer.
