10/05: I join Blue Axis, which becomes Fisher Queen & the Hooks. For a year we play several gigs together. 08/06: "Personal differences" lead to the demise of FQ&H, and keys player Steve joins Curly. The remaining Hooks regroup as a power trio. 05/07: The Hooks call it quits. Soon Kevin joins Steve with Curly. Richie and Todd cool their jets. 10/07: Steve e-mails Todd: Curly needs guitarist and bassist. Within days, original Hooks meet in Curly's garage, and the new and improved Curly "No Shoes" Jr. Band is born! 01/08: After five gigs and a radio spot, it gets very quiet, and all ponder the future. 03/08: Steve announces he has found another band home. We audition a few sax players, and forge a leaner, meaner band sound. 06/08: The CNSJ Band performs to a wildly enthusiastic crowd at the 2008 Greeley Blues Fest. We enjoy a busy Summer and the future looks bright!

11/08: On 11/16, our LIVE CD is recorded at Denver's famous Walnut Room. We're poised to take the Front Range by storm - but as the months come and go, everything seems to evaporate. 07/09: After a handful of ho-hum gigs, bassist Richie throws in the towel. A week or so later I finally decide that the CNSJ Band isn't worth the effort and I, too, bade Curly farewell.
