7 5 1   Dubbed after the main road running through that neck of the woods. Here was a band with potential: the perfect blend of classic, Southern, blues and country rock. Boy Howdy. Drums, bass, two guitars, and we all sang. Careening from Foghat to Travis Tritt, from Stevie Ray to Molly Hatchet, then from Delbert McClinton to Bad Company, we were a veritable testosterone cocktail, and we were durn proud of it!

But after too many rehearsals and too few gigs, I had to call it quits. We were too cotton-pickin' loud, for starters, and I developed a sinus infection from all the secondary smoke I was breathing. Then there was all this political noise between the other guys. You could say this was a textbook example of a rock'n'roll band, and I guess I've just gotten too old for it!
